| When applying membranes to an
area be it liquid or a sheet membrane there are some aspects of the works
that should be understood. 1. What is the area used for 2. Can the product perform it's task 3. Can the product be applied in the area correctly effectively and economically. 4. What is the long term results of your choice |

A prepared area
|

| Membranes can cause the increase
of Iron chloride attack by not allowing the substrata to breathe. This can
cause acceleration of spalling concrete i.e. Concrete cancer. The other
things that also should be considered are: 1. When should the area receive a maintenance coat? 2. Can it be re-coated simply? 3. Does it require specialized preparation first? 4. How much will it cost to re-coat? |

| Advanced Waterproofing has been
involved in all areas covering the specification, the preparation, the application
and the inspection of our works on completion. We believe that a membrane should be chosen so that it can be maintained. This in it self will extend the life of a product (once the initial preparation works have taken place.) and ensure a long term economical solution. |
