This is a Typical Beam Repair

It is not always necessary to repair concrete due to the corrosion of the steel reinforcement.
As shown in this photo a section of beam had not been correctly vibrated during the time of the concrete placement.

It is important to remember when repairing this type of detail, that while the beam sections, may only appear to be solid they be honeycombed with in the concrete mass., This particular repair was carried out by firstly removing all loose material, bagging the perimeter And installing formwork so that the detail can be pressure grouted using a non-shrink high early strength grout mix.

As seen here we can achieve a high standard of finish. Given time to cure the repair will match the existing finish so closely that it will not be a focal point.
